Most humans operate with compassion, love and forgiveness. When those we are connected to or love make a mistake, we want to believe that they didn’t mean it. That it was a mistake. That they hear and understand how much their actions hurt. That they feel remorse for hurting us and are actively learning how to be better versions of themselves. Unfortunately, toxic people prey on that compassion, love and forgiveness knowing that the more their atrocious actions are forgiven, the more they will be able to get away with.
What do you think are the top 3 ways companies generate leads and potential new clients?
If you said, advertising, marketing and word of mouth AKA referrals, you are a smarty pants and you are also correct (high five). Long gone are the days of door to door sales, telemarketers, and the use of yellow page ad’s.
Instagram has become a huge part of the foundation for my business. I find inspiration, recipes, work out ideas and so much more through my feed. Most importantly though I get to connect and build cool friendships with people all around the world like you guys. How AMAZING is that!?
Seriously though, 2018 was one of those years where I learned 10 thousand lessons. As much as we can all say 2018 was one of the hardest years for a lot of people. Personal growth does not happen without challenges and moments where we are forced to deal with adversity. When we face adversity, when we are resilient, when we overcome the challenges, we grow.
Do you prefer to eat clean and healthy? Are you particular about the products you feed your babe? What about the products you use in your house to clean?
I care about all that stuff, I make sure I eat clean. I buy organic when I can, use natural products to clean the house, my skin, my hair. I make sure every product I buy for Charlie is natural and as pure as possible. But what I had failed to notice is I never paid attention to the type of feminine hygiene products I was using. I’d just hit up a local pharmacy grab some pads and tampons and off I went to pick up organic chocolate at my local health food store ‘cause I needed to be prepared for the coming week, obviously.
This story is full of tears, heartbreak, uncertainty, doubt, unknowns, but more importantly, faith, belief, hard work, facing adversity, overcoming adversity and a woman, me, who chose to follow her life long dreams while life as she knew it crumbled around her.
